Innovation and Entrepreneurship in Interactive Entertainment

Homework for day two, yes during winter school we do get homework!

My first job was to finish reading the text we started on day one (How To Be The Luckiest Person Alive, written by James Altucher): A very interesting read.Yes I read it all!! The second activity I needed to complete was a list, the list was a way of highlighting the things we are interested in and were we source information from, also where we see the future. What is comming!!

My List

What do I read?

University Textbooks.

What you should ask is, what do I like to read?

I enjoy reading the literary works of Je

an M. Auel and Cathern Cookson.

Which are both historical novels with a little romance thrown in. Jean M. Auel writes about ancient history of early man, while Cathern Cookson writes about 19th century England (mainly).

What sites do I have book marked on my computer?

Practical and boring (as you can see) but book marked to save me time.

What makes me say…“that is really cool”!

I must admit to saying that is really cool when I saw the coloured tap water on top gear (water changed colour from blue to red depending on temperature): This effect was done by lights.

I also said this is really cool when I painted (with a friend) a wall of space invaders in the game room.

What do you foresee as ‘pervasive’ enabling technologies

Technology

1 year

2 year

3 years plus

Hardware

More ipad type products

Personal mini devices (I have a specific idea here)

Everything becoming more ambiguous.

Software

More apps

Apps for functionally not just fun. (Productive)

Software being developed to cater to human needs more. (wireless transmission from brain to computer devise)

Other (Gaming)

More interaction (whole body FPS)

Greater focus on educational gaming

Educational gaming being used in schools.
